Why this directory exists

Quoting is where a lot of small businesses lose time and money. Prices live in old spreadsheets, proposals get rebuilt from scratch, and open quotes go unanswered because nobody follows up. Software helps, but the market is crowded and every product claims to do everything.

QuoteMeta sorts quoting and proposal tools by how people actually sell, from a plumber with a phone to a sales team with a product catalog. We describe each tool in plain words, link to its official site, and leave out ratings and prices we cannot keep honest. The aim is a short list you can test yourself, not a ranking. We would rather list fewer tools we have checked than pad the page with ones we have not.

Every listing is checked against the tool's official site before it goes up, and anything we cannot confirm is marked as not enough info. If you spot a mistake or a tool that should be here, tell us and we will check it by hand.

How tools are chosen and described

A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does what our description says. Each tool sits in the one category that fits its main job, even when it does several things.

We don't publish scores, rankings, prices or win rates. Plans change too often to keep honest, and nobody can promise a quote tool wins you more work. Tools we couldn't confirm stay off the site until we can.

Right now that is 54 quoting tools in 9 categories, last checked 2026-11-03.

Makers can submit or claim a listing for free. A person checks every request before anything changes. Paid placements are marked Sponsored wherever they appear, and they never change what we write about a tool.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, or a tool has shut down, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
